STILL BEING UPDATED
While the main area of this website is complete, all of the indivdual resources are still being updated. Eventually almost all of the internal - that is, AC21DOJ-generated - resources will be formatted in the style seen here. Please note that a (hyperlinked) title followed by a checked box () indicates an updated/reformatted resource. Your patient understanding during this transition period is very much appreciated.

CITING THIS SOURCE
Anything/everything on this website -- "A Century 21 Disciple of Jesus" (AC21DOJ.org / ShakinAndShinin.org) -- is intended for noncommercial, educational, and personal Bible study use only. Please feel free to quote from anything on this site. If/when doing so, please cite the source thusly:

Taken from A Century 21 Disciple of Jesus website (AC21DOJ.org), <exact URL>.

For example, the citation for material from this particular webpage would be:

Taken from A Century 21 Disciple of Jesus website (AC21DOJ.org), http://ac21doj.org/Files/TOC/CopyrightInfo.html.

VERBATIM VS. PARAPHRASE
Words, phrases, or sentences placed inside quotation marks and followed by a source citation hyperlink -- that is, [1], [2], [3], etc. or [ref] -- represent a direct quote. Example:
  • "This is a direct quote." [1]
  • "This is a direct quote." [ref]

Words, phrases, or sentences not in quotation marks and followed by a source citation hyperlink -- that is, [1], [2], [3], etc. or [ref] -- represent a summary or paraphrase. Example:

  • This is a summary/paraphrase; it is not a direct quote. [1]
  • This is a summary/paraphrase; it is not a direct quote. [ref]

Where there is no source citation hyperlink, either the idea is my own or it is a very common idea found in several sources.

BLOCK QUOTES
As for block quotes, some are paraphrases and others are verbatim quotes. I have used a couple of different methods for indicating which is which, and these should be self-explanatory.

SOURCE CITATIONS
Hovering your cursor/pointer over a source link will reveal the title of the source, and double-clicking on it will open a new page containing full source citation info. Example using the "Baker Encyclopedia of Christian Apologetics": [ref]

NEW AMERICAN STANDARD BIBLE
